Meet Lindsay: Your Advocate, Strategist, and Guide

I am a clinical social worker and a mother of six, including three children who joined our family through transracial adoption. Adoption is not only my professional focus—it is a deeply personal journey that shapes how I support the families I work with every day.

My husband, Matt, and I have navigated three very different adoption paths: designated adoption, agency adoption, and working with a consultancy. Along the way, we experienced the realities many families quietly fear—an adoption scam, two failed matches, and the agonizing decision to step away from a situation due to unexpected medical complications. We also live the full spectrum of openness in adoption today, from fully open to limited-contact relationships.

Because of this, I don’t just understand the process—I have lived it.

As the lead strategist at The Adoption Consultancy, I have dedicated my career to guiding families through these emotional and logistical complexities of adoption. I believe every journey is unique, and I provide individualized support rooted in education, thoughtful advocacy, and steady, grounded guidance.
